TODAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is TODAY.  To-DAY. TODAY TODAY TODAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sister Turley comes home from Cape Verde and becomes Jaime again.
OUR JAIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When she first went out, there were a lot of tears.
Tears. Tears. Tears.
At the same time I was SOOOOO EXCITED for her,
and just SOOOOO happy that she was having this opportunity in
such a beautiful place with such beautiful people.
And, every Monday- it was just the BEST.
We LOVED reading her emails.
It was like she was talking to us.
I would wait. wait. wait. wait. wait. for those emails.
I counted down the days on a chart- and on an app.
It seemed like it would take forever.
But, those Mondays, they just kept coming.
With stories of miracles. of change. of the Gospel.
of the Savior. of our Jaime.
Miracles.
And, then. Before we knew it.
18 months had gone.
And, there are more tears.
tears. tears. tears.
Happy tears.  Happy our Jaime is coming home.
Happy she chose to serve a mission.
Happy she has shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Cape Verde.
Happy she has strengthened her testimony.
Happy she loves the people in Cape Verde.
Happy she has experienced miracles.
Happy she has witnessed true change of heart.
Happy she has been happy for 18 months.
And, happy she is COMING HOME.
It is like Christmas Eve... only better :)
This isn't about the commercial Christmas: things, gifts, wrappings....
It is simply about our Savior who we love more than anything, who Jaime has
testified of, sacrificed for, and tried her best to emulate for 18 months.
And, our Jaime, who is coming home.
My heart is full.
And, these are happy tears :)
